- You attest to 100 hours coaching practice

- 100 hours client coaching experience
- All the supervision hours you need for your EMCC application, included in the course
- Complete a portfolio, a simple internal process you fill in with our guidance
- We review it internally, then recommend you to EMCC

Frequently asked questions
When does the next program start?
We run Coaching Fundamentals 5–6 times a year, starting in February, April, June, September and November, at different times of day so there's a fit for most time zones. Don't see a slot that works? Write to us and we'll try to build one around you.
What do I actually get certified in?
ICF ACC (Associate Certified Coach), EMCC Practitioner accreditation, and IASTI Solution Focused Practitioner, from one course. See "the credentials, explained" above for exactly what's required for each.
How much time does this really take?
2 hours of live class a week, plus 2–3 hours of self-study and reflection. You join from your laptop, anywhere in the world, no travel required. Miss a class? Watch the recording (under 15% of sessions can be missed to graduate).
Do I need any coaching experience first?
No. Complete beginners are welcome. If you already coach informally as a manager, in HR, or as an Agile Coach, you'll build directly on those instincts.
Who will I be learning alongside?
A maximum of 12 participants from around the world, coaches, leaders, HR professionals, and consultants from Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia. You'll be coached by, and learn to coach, a genuinely global group.
What's my investment, and can I pay in installments?
€3,000, including all 10 mentor coaching hours. Yes, installment plans are available, ask us on your info call.
What is observed coaching, and why does the course include it?
From April 1, 2027, ICF requires every accredited program to include a set number of observed coaching sessions per participant, coaching that's watched and given feedback by a credentialed coach, not assessed once at the end. Coaching Fundamentals already includes this: 2 live sessions during class with immediate feedback from your trainer, and 3 sessions with AI-supported guidance between classes. The course length and price stay the same, you're simply getting feedback throughout, not just at the end.
